点评:Ellis Island is without a doubt one of the best experiences in NYC. This museum is a must-visit for history buffs like myself. This museum gave me feelings of hope, but also demonstrates the painful experiences immigrants went through over the years. The exhibits were interactive and featured a variety of topics. I absolutely loved the Memories Left Behind exhibit on the third floor. It gave you a glimpse into various families that entered through this facility. After adventuring, we stopped at the library to try to trace our roots. I was able to find my great-great-grandfather who immigrated from Canada back in the early 1900s. At $10 for 30 minutes to use this service, I think it is well worth it, but be prepared to have some information on hand, or you won't have the luck I did.
One last note: I highly recommend visiting earlier in the day, before the crowds start flowing in.

最后一点建议:我强烈建议大家在人潮涌入之前,早点去参观。
