白色隘口育空铁路的点评
点评：We took the train trip to the summit, and didn’t go all the way to the Yukon. This was booked through Holland America.
— The seating was hard, uncomfortable benches. The scenery was pretty, but not amazing. It’s important to know that we had recently ridden the lovely train from Denali to Anchorage, where we had beautiful and diverse scenery. Maybe we just weren’t ready for a far less comfortable and less scenic train ride. Our opinion may have been different had we been on a cruise that didn’t include a land tour. Honestly, I think we would have preferred having a more relaxing morning on the ship, followed by a bit of shopping in Skagway.
— This trip might be for you if you are interested in the incredible engineering required to build the railroad - or if you like riding in old (not terribly comfortable) trains - or if you have an interest in gold mining - or if the McKinley Explorer train trip isn’t part of your Alaska tour experience.
