点评:As a proud Air Force brat, it was important & imperative that I visit this memorial, this shrine, this hallowed site where so many servicemen paid the ultimate price for our country.
It was a somber and moving experience.
If you go, please please please review the guidelines and listen to to the instructions of the rangers and active duty service personnel.
This is not your average memorial. It is a grave sire. My advice: dress comfortably and sensibly. In other words, if you wouldn't wear it to your grandma's funeral, then don't wear it here.
You must reserve your tickets, which cost a processing fee of $1 (at the time of our visit). Do not be late to your reservation time, or you may not get to the memorial and there is no refund.
And I wish it went without saying, but young children would benefit from active guidance & supervision. If you wouldn't let them run around at a funeral & in a cemetery, then don't let them run around here.
