Amazing experience, but guide did not live up to our expectations

点评：The visit to the cave is a lifetime experience. The whole path is about 900 steps, make sure you wear comfy shoes and take an anorak with you since there is a lot of dripping from the ceiling. I have never seen anything like this in my whole life. The scenery is really breathtaking. Actually you see a canyon in a cave,which is quite different from the Postonja cave.
Our guide unfortunately, did not live up to our expectations ( like the guide we had in Postonja cave ) in a way that she did not share much knowledge with us , there was no effort to connect with the group . She did not display enthusiasm and engagement.She seemed disinterested from the start — speaking in a monotone voice, rushing to go from one spot to the other making complaints to photo takers , and offering very little information beyond the bare minimum. A good guide makes all the difference! Moreover, no microphone was present in the cave,so we had great difficulty in hearing her due to the constant sound of the river Rjeika. This is something they should improve . Also, the light in the cave is very poor .Photos are not allowed ,she never told us why , i guess for safety reasons ? since the steps are really steep and slippery. However, there are plenty of photos on Trip Advisor to see since groups seem to ignore the guides rules and taking photos all the time.
I highly suggest visiting the cave by all means once you land in Slovenia.
