Absolutely breathtaking - a highlight of our trip to Slovenia

点评：We Visited Škocjanske Jame yesterday, and honestly, it completely blew me away. I’ve seen caves before, but nothing comes close to this place. From the moment we stepped inside, it felt like entering another world — vast chambers, echoing waterfalls, and that incredible underground canyon that seems to go on forever.
Our guide was wonderful – knowledgeable, friendly, and clearly passionate about the caves. She shared fascinating details about how the caves were formed.
You definitely need good walking shoes and to be prepared for a fair bit of walking (and a few uphill sections) but it’s worth every step. The paths are well maintained, and the views — especially when you cross that huge bridge high above the river — are absolutely unforgettable.
It’s cool inside the cave, so you need warm clothes, even if it’s warm outside. The surrounding nature park is also lovely to explore afterward — peaceful trails, fresh air, and beautiful scenery everywhere you look. We had a picnic at the picnic tables provided by
