MUST VISIT! Highlight of our Bourbon tours/distilleries!
Wilderness Trail Distillery的点评
点评：My husband and I have been to Kentucky now for our 3rd trip to visit distilleries and this is most definitely is in our top 5! The facility is beautiful and much larger than expected. We picked it primarily because it was close to our VRBO and it was one we had never tried.
When you get to the facility, not only is the staff very welcoming, but Cooper the cat welcomes you as well. The staff are genuine and seem happy to have you there. You almost feel like you are coming over to a friend or families home. We were very lucky to get Noah as our tour host and he goes above and beyond. Very nice guy and super knowledgeable about the company he had worked for the past 6 years. Though we didn’t get to see production happening (I mean it was Labor Day weekend), getting to tour the facility and rickhouse was great. Our tasting at the end was in a beautiful new tasting room with an amazing view as well.
To say the least, we really loved the product!! We have had MANY bourbons, but Wilderness Trail was totally new to us. I love Ryes and my husband is more of a wheated man, they have something for everyone. Even he really enjoyed the Ryes.
So, if this is not on your radar, don’t pass up the chance to go!! Add this to your list!
