点评：The tour still went ahead even though it was just me and my partner, which already showed how dedicated they are. Andreas gave us detailed, clear instructions on how to operate the quad so we felt safe and confident before setting off.
We started by heading up the mountain where we could see from Dia island all the way across the bay – the views were absolutely breathtaking. As we went further into the mountains, we drove through olive groves and off-road tracks, mixed with charming little Greek villages that felt like something out of a postcard.
The highlight of the trip was stopping in a tiny, traditional village where we were welcomed like locals. We sat down to a meal of tomatoes, cucumbers, bread with olive oil, chips and burgers – all homemade and homegrown right there. The tomatoes were honestly the best I’ve ever eaten, and the whole meal was just incredible.
The tour ended along a beautiful coastal road leading to the beach, where we watched the sunset and even fed turtles. It was truly stunning, unforgettable, and honestly one of the best experiences we’ve ever had.
Andreas made the tour even better – he was funny, knowledgeable, patient, spoke amazing English, and made the whole day feel personal and special.
If you could only do one thing on your trip to Crete – this is it. We paid €75 each and it was worth every cent (I’d have happily paid double). The pictures don’t even come close to how beautiful it is in real life.
