Museum at the Friends Home的点评
点评：What an excellent museum that has a TON of history about the Waynesville Ohio area! The Museum consists of the main floor, an upper floor and a basement floor that is filled with artifacts about Waynesville. The day we were there, the very nice lady provided us with the information about the house which was built in 1905 and how it became the Museum at the Friends Home. At one point it was a boarding home, then a home for the disabled adults, then sat vacant for many years. The inside of the home is gorgeous!!! The woodwork is stunning as is the wallpaper too! Each room had a ton of information that is easy to see and read about each artifact. Across the street was the old Waynesville school that was for 1st graders to high school students and was operation from about 1891 to 1921. While it is privately owned and not open for tours, it was worth walking around the building as is the Quaker Church (Friends Church) located right next to the Museum. It was not open but it was also worth walking around.
