Tricky to navigate to the waterfalls but lovely once found

点评：We arrived at the Nant Mill wood car park and were pleased to find a parking spot right away. The payment options included coins or mobile payment, but unfortunately, there was no signal to pay by phone. Thankfully, we had some change, so it wasn’t an issue for us.
However, the visitor centre and toilets were closed during our visit, which was a bit disappointing. Our main goal was to explore the waterfalls, but we encountered some difficulties. There were no signs indicating which direction to take for the waterfalls, and without mobile signal, we couldn’t access navigation apps like AllTrails or Komoot.
We initially set off to the right, hoping it was the correct route. Along the way, we met another couples who were also struggling to locate the waterfalls. After some time, we decided to return to the car. We drove a little further up the road and finally got a signal, allowing us to find a map on Instagram. This led us to the Bersham area, where we parked on the roadside.
From there, we found the woods and a map that eventually guided us to the waterfalls. The falls were lovely and well worth the effort, with plenty of spots for little ones to splash around and enjoy the stepping stones.
In summary, while the walk itself was enjoyable and the waterfalls were pretty, the experience was marred by the lack of signage and information. We even met another couple who had completed a 5k loop without finding the waterfalls. With better signage, this could be a much more enjoyable destination, especially for families. Sadly we saw some litter and dog poo bags hung on branches along the walk.
