Nice venue and exhibits, terrible guest behavior
田纳西水族馆的点评
点评：This was our second visit to the aquarium, which is well-designed and contains numerous interesting species of fish, snakes, turtles, penguins, river otters and other aquatic life. The aquarium is located in a great area of Chattanooga with several nice hotels and restaurants closeby.
We visited on a Tuesday and were only part-way thru our visit, having just completed the river section before heading to the ocean exhibits, but were already frustrated by at least two school field trip groups (I’m guessing they were between 5th and 7th grade) that were very loud and disruptive, making our experience much less enjoyable than what we recalled from our first visit. The kids were loud, disrespectful and generally damaged our experience. The chaperones weren’t much better than the kids and made no attempt to quiet them or have them walk in any order. I was bumped into three times - once fairly aggressively- with no “excuse me,” or apology.
I started to approach Guest Services but frankly didn’t expect them to improve the situation since several aquarium employees (volunteers?) had clearly seen the kids’ behavior and done nothing. We just tried to stay ahead of these groups, see what we could peacefully, and leave.
For the sake of other guests, I really hope the aquarium will tell kids’ adult group leaders they need to demonstrate respectful behavior or they’ll be asked to leave.
