点评:My husband and I caught the bus that runs from the centre of Alghero to Porto Conte. We got off at the end of the road through Maristella across the road from the hotel Porto Conte. The bus continues back to Alghero then so make sure you get off here.
We turned left and walked about 15 minutes to the entrance on the left to parco di Porto Conte. We paid 9 euros each which allows you to visit all the other parks and a few eco museums for a month. Good if you have a car.
We walked through the park to Punto Giglio where there is a restaurant. We took a picnic. There are toilets at the end of the restaurant block. Outside and down some steps. The walk is through the forest with spectacular views every so often of the sea and mountains beyond.
It is about a 5 mile walk in total back to the bus stop. The temperature was around 24 degrees. I would have not been able to do it during the main summer months.
The man at the entrance desk was very helpful.
There is a shuttle bus every so often at 5 euros if you are less mobile.
We had a lovely walk. You would be able to do it in 2 hours if you didn't stop for refreshments. There are paths of the main one if you want a longer walk.
