The Breakers的点评
点评：Not our first time at The Breakers, but the very first time without crowds. I could believe it! We had all the majestic rooms almost entirely to ourselves and easily parked our car as well. What a difference with super busy summers!
The mansion is opulent to the point of being overwhelming. The grandeur is in every official room, every gallery, every private space… Magnificent chandeliers adorning the great hall, the dining room, the billiard rooms and the library are truly one of a kind. Interesting that the bedrooms are rather modest in contrast.
I loved the spacious kitchen downstairs with its humongous cast iron stove, endless variety of shining pots and pans, and equally humongous island table.
The staff is very helpful and lovely cozy cafe has a nice selection of sandwiches and drinks.
Perfect visit on a brilliant spring day!
