点评:This is a guided tour except for the provost (dungeon) in the basement. This part is a guided tour that lasts 20-25 minutes. They give good info on the history of the building and some of the archaeology found while digging some renovations. It is amazing to walk around and touch bricks that are older than our country.
The first and second stories have lots of artifacts from the revolution era and civil war era, with lots of information on the times and how people lived in Charleston during those times. There are chairs and clothing on display, along with some very good portraits of important people from those times - especially the revolution. We chose this as the one historical building to visit during our weekend and I’m glad we did. It was worth our time and money to explore this amazing building.
