点评:I was with my wife at Yong Peng for a 2D 1N tour. We stayed at Lee Hotel and this temple is about 11 mins walk from the hotel. It is not along the Jalan Besar main road but is rather easy to find the temple. The 68 ft tall deity statue can be seen from afar as you reached the vicinity. The small track leading to the temple is called Jalan Satin and the entrance is just beside the 988 Food Court.
The weather on that morning was scorching hot and my wife was sweating profusely under the heat but she was highly spirited and energetic to explore our very first attraction.
The temple compound is rather large and the admission is free. The temple compound is distinctly divided with the 68 ft tall Ji Gong deity statue and all other statues on one side and the main prayer hall on the other side of the temple. The main deity statue is impressively huge and I felt like a dwarf standing beside the statue. There are many more small Ji Gong statues around the compound and they were all very real and authentic.
The locals claimed that this Ji Gong statue at 68 ft tall is the tallest of its kind in the world and if you did not visit this temple you have not visited Yong Peng.
