Hidden Treasure in Rochester!

点评：We had a wonderful experience at the museum. We made a reservation and were met right on time by Mrs. Gagnon who gave us a fantastic tour. She knew all the details about each sculpture-the differences in the materials, the process by which each piece was made, who commissioned certain pieces, and the story behind each sculpture. She is a wealth of knowledge and a treasure herself! It was a very cold day when we visited, so we did not tour the garden but were able to look down on it from the museum and see sculptures that were there. Mrs. Gagnon explained how the pieces came to be. This museum is unique in that, in the U. S., it’s very rare to be able to visit the actual location where the art was conceived and created. Rochester, MN is fortunate to have such a museum. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and highly recommend this museum to others.
