点评:We have been to quite a few botanical and estate gardens over the years and the Atlanta Botanical Garden was in the upper tier of those we have visited. The wide variety of trees, plants and flowers on display made for a very interesting 4-5 hours. The garden was not crowded on a Thursday afternoon. We especially enjoyed the orchids and other indoor exhibits. And we appreciated the efforts that have gone into bringing so many unique plants from around the world and from very different climates than the one we have here in the SE United States. All that being said, our experience ended on a bit of a sour note when we had to pay a rather significant fee for parking on top of what we had already paid for entry to the gardens. As best we can tell, there is no mention about parking or parking rates on the garden website, and neither my wife nor I can recall seeing much signage about that as we drove in. As a result, we assumed that the parking was included. However, we subsequently found out that the rates are on the website, just not where we expected to find them. Just be prepared to pay $4 per hour for parking ($30 daily maximum) when you leave.
