Sunset Beach Waterfront Park的点评
点评：This is a beautiful beach with easy access for handicapped individuals such as myself. However I have doubts about returning because the city has started charging a ridiculous price for parking ($20 per day), ($5 per hour).
In what used to be a free lot with bathrooms and a huge gazebo, there are only 4 handicap spaces and even if you have handicap tags, parking is only free if you are lucky enough to get one of those 4 spaces.
A charge of $5 per day would be reasonable since the only entertainment is the beach itself but to go from free to $20 per day will soon force visitors to search for another vacation spot. Residents can get a pass for around $50 per year. If you visit there for 5 days then you will pay $100 for parking or get a ticket for $25 per day as I did because I thought handicap parking was free even though I had to park on the far end of the lot and had to rest before reaching the beach. As for me, I will be looking for a different vacation spot.
