Aldeburgh Golf Club的点评
点评：My wife and I had a lovely trip to Suffolk and booked in to play Aldeburgh. The welcome in the pro shop was very friendly, we were warned about the works going on to change the course and also told that we were fairly free to tee off any time that suited us around the time we had booked as there was space before and after the booking.
We started on the back nine and the first thing we noticed was the quality of the greens, the ball rolled true and the pace was good. There was a lot of work being done on the course in terms of bunker replacements and also new holes being designed which did confuse the sat-nav devices we used but that is a small inconvenience. When you play golf in February, you want to play somewhere the ball rolls on the fairway, the greens run well and the tee boxes are in great condition.
Once we finished our excellent round, we stopped off in the clubhouse for a drink. The changing rooms are spacious and clean and there are three seating areas in the clubhouse so plenty of room. We sat somewhere looking out over the first and with the ninth green to our right and that seemed a prime location.
We would love to return once the changes have been completed as the course looks so inviting and the conditions were excellent. The course has so many good holes and the work being done to improve it look to be on track to complete this year.
