点评：Bonefish Point is uninhabited. I almost didn't want to post about it because it needs to stay that way. If you have read review about it being breathtaking, they are true! I'm going to fill in some details that will help you decide to go or not. First, the drive to get there. It is more than treacherous. I should have rented a Wrangler. Instead, I rented what I was told was a mid-size SUV. You can see by the pics that it is not. I will say this, I did make it with that little thing. However, there were many moments when I thought I would bust a tire. I read a review saying that I could make it just take it slow. Taking it slow does mean it took a strong hour getting up there. I don't know if it was a mountain, but getting there felt like climbing a mountain. The rocks on this road were HUGE. It is like driving through a rock quarry. There are areas that get small, like a walking path. However, once you get there, it is AMAZING, to say the least. Things you will need if you plan to stay a while: WATER, WATER, WATER. It is hot and you will dehydrate. Also, take a beach umbrella. Someone said there are shady areas there. No, it is not! You will want to have an umbrella and beach chairs or either you need to go very early. Otherwise you will be hot. There are amazing shells there. For my shell collectors, but you can't take them. Ugh! I'm an adventurer, and I had the BEST experience with this. My boyfriend is not and said the water looked the same as it did at the resort (it did not), and he didn't feel it was a big deal or worth the drive. For me to see all that beach and have it all to yourself is remarkable within itself. There is so much exploring to be done in a space like that. Not too much though because remember you're in a remote area. EMS isn't getting to you quickly. I hope this helps you make your decision to go or not.
