点评:We went to Washington DC for Memorial day weekend (end of May) . We used the metro to get around . 2 adults 3 kids everything was easy to walk to and the weather was beautiful. This was our first time to the Library and I found the staff very friendly. The volunteers were so nice with the kids they had a I spy pamphlet with things to find in the museum. my only complaint was the reading room visit. Staff told us We had to get a time sticker to enter and showed us where to go to get it but they seemed very rude. We got the sticker came back and they had us wait. As the crowd gathered then they asked for a line and everyone just went in front of us. So I took my kids and lined up where we were supposed to the staff gave us a look. when inside the staff didn't explain anything about the room only shushed people and told them not to touch or keep walking. When I asked questions they were answered very short. "How do those people get in the room and in the desk area? Response- "They made an appointment". Oh is that to just read in here because its quiet? "response No they are doing research! I would give this place 5 stars if it wasn't for this area which needs improvement.
