Knowth Megalithic Passage Tomb的点评
点评：We had the most amazing time visiting Knowth. A brilliant tour guide - I forget his name but he was a lovely man with a beard! - and I was absolutely amazed to hear he had only been doing tours for about a year. He had so much knowledge and was clearly very passionate about the site and history of the surrounding areas.
The site itself is totally magical with lots of Neolithic art to look at on the kerbstones. And a beautiful view across the valley when you walk to the top of the passage tomb.
The visitors centre was brilliant too with an exhibition that gives you some site history before you are shuttled over to Knowth (or Newgrange if you’re doing that tour instead).
Would definitely recommend to anyone spending time in this part of Ireland! Well worth visiting Dowth as well (although no tours available there so it’s self-guided) and Newgrange is fantastic too. A really fab way to spend a day!
