Veerabhadra Swamy Temple Complex的点评

The temple complex shows the architectural influence of the VijayanagaraEmpire and Hampi.
Monolithic statues of Ganesha and Seshanag over Shivling are spectacular. The floating pillar is a marvel and many can be seeing trying to pull a thin piece of cloth through the bottom to check its veracity.
The entire complex is beautiful and very well maintained although the same cannot be said of the premises outside the temple. The gardens are strewn with litter and in front of us a group of young boys and girls threw their chips packets and plastic bottles on the ground. One of the girls in the group was conscientious enough to pick up the litter but the other girl who actually threw it was least bothered. How can we expect to preserve the sanctity of our temples and cleanliness of such popular tourist destinations if the youth show lack of civic sense.
