点评:We were not there 5 minutes before my 6 year old was told to quiet down - for whistling. Not hollering, not screaming, yelling or throwing a tantrum, but for whistling. Do you know how loud a 6 year old can whistle? About the volume an adult can hum.
I was shocked to say the least. I had brought my children here to learn and glean knowledge and nearly immediately it was communicated that children were not welcome, and anything other than a library hush was unacceptable.
Imagine my surprise when towards the end of the museum there was a kids section! I have no idea how it can be tolerated when museum employees so clearly hate children. To further add context, maybe an hour before a complete stranger approached me at lunch to say how well behaved my kids were, so hopefully that would indicate I am not a Karen running around with brats.
To say I was disappointed is a great understatement, this museum has so much to offer the next generation - if only they would allow them to discover it.
