Alaska State Museum的点评
点评：It has a lot of great stuff. The kids room is beautiful. It's incredibly sad they crammed all the taxidermied animals into such a tiny weird uninteractive space. The feeling of magic in the old design of the upward spiraling walkway around the eagle's nest as a central experience in the museum is sadly lost. As is the inspiring interaction with the lighthouse light. Things feel sterilized and warehoused. It's not ugly, and it certainly needed an update from the past, but it's sad they couldn't figure out how to keep things on a more up-close scale that makes the things in the museum really come alive. It seems they didn't have as many of their paintings displayed anymore, which was dissapointing. Perhaps they're elsewhere is the building, but not allowed to be seen by the paying museum goer anymore. The security at the front has let their tiny grasp of power go to their head as well, quite rude both times we've been there so far.
