Not the cultural experience I had hoped for
Highland Paradise Drums of our Forefathers Sunset Culture Show的点评
点评：It was a blustery wet night, so our spirits were dampened to start with. I didn't think the complimentary shuttle bus would make it up the hill to the venue. But it did. The small cocktail I was given on arrival had ants climbing all over it and then a fly landed in the replacement one they gave me. The show involved drumming, which was fun, and story telling. Two people were asked to come forward from the audience to represent the teams. It was very pressured for any men on the team to be the one up the front. Some people just prefer to watch the show. The dances were well explained by the narrator. The venue was very draughty and hard to focus on the performers as it was chilly and wet. People were invited to go onstage to join in the dancing. The food was delicious and there was lots of it, however I think it was overpriced. There are lots of similar shows around the island. Maybe if it had been a sunny evening I would have enjoyed it more.
