Horrible experience and no response to my concerns

点评：Below is an email I sent in regards to the High Tea offered on Cuthberts 939 Tram. I have had no response to my email and am very dissatisfied with their lack of customer service. I was told the tram would be going around the gardens and I would have a great view of the marathon. Instead the tram moved literally 50m and all I could see was the depot on one side and public toilets on the other side. I was told a slight deviation from the regular tram ride around the lake. Really? Slight deviation? Tram moves 50m and then stops!
My email:
Good morning Eoghan. I’m sorry to say that my mother and I left after 25 minutes yesterday. It was her birthday and neither she or I were enjoying ourselves.
The staff were lovely. Friendly. Polite. So we told them she was feeling unwell and we left as I didn’t want to cause a scene.
Im very disappointed at the way this was described to me.
I fully understood that the marathon was on. However when this was explained to me I was told the tram would be driving around the gardens and we would have a good view of the marathon. I also specifically mentioned that this would be ok as long as the tram didn’t just stop and not move.
That is what happened. The tram only moved 50m then stopped. I was left looking at the public toilets as I was facing away from the lake and my mother wasn’t really looking at much of a marathon as it was too far away to see anyone.
I would appreciate a refund as this was not how the experience was described to me.
