The kid at the deli counter was having a conversation with somebody while I stood there and waited right in front of him. They kept talking and talking about nothing related to his purchases and just ignored me. I looked at my watch and waited over four minutes, at which point I said, “are you working here “. The customer took his stuff and the kid said “yes, I am. What can I do for you?” I’d still be waiting if I hadn’t said something. It’s not just the kid, cause if I was that other customer and knew someone was behind me waiting, I would’ve told the kid to take care of them because that’s the courteous and respectful way to be.
I had a similar experience the first time I was here, this was the second and I thought I’d give it another chance. I won’t be back unless the crab meat is out of this world fantastic because that was a good deal.
