An Amazing Temple with Tons of Bells

点评：This is the most incredible temple I've ever visited in my life. There are no words to describe the amazingness of the experience one experiences on visiting this temple. The diety of this temple is Golajya Dev or Golu Devta, who is believed to be a deliverer of Justice. People come here to pray Golajya devta to deliver justice to them if some court case has been running against them for years or to remove obstacles from their lives. They hang a bell with or without their written plea to the poles of this temple. They come back with a larger bell if their plea is accepted and justice is delivered. Bells (starting from ₹30 and in brass alloy) are available on shops outside this temple.
This temple is located about 15 km from the Mall, Nainital and the road leading to the temple is good until Bhowali, but the last 3-4 km are in a shabby condition. The entry to this temple is free and is located on a hill top near Sainik School, Ghorakhal. One has to climb some 100 stairs (moderate difficulty) to reach the temple.
Snacks and tea shop is available right outside the temple premises.
I will definitely recommend visiting this place if one is in Nainital, there is no excusing that.
