Shepherds Rest的点评
点评：We booked to stay at the oyo bull on the bridge in soweby bridge.. but when I rang late afternoon on the day of arrival ..was told they had changed it to the shepards rest ( dowerby bridge)..they said it was an upgrade, but we wern't informed of this. After telling them I wasnt happy about thid...they said we could stay at the bull if we wanted..though the shepards rest was an upgrade( so they said) we arri ed the young man who sorted ud out when we arrived at 8.30 p.m was very helpful. He sorted us out a heater as the room was cold and the heating wasnt on. He said he would put it on for us( it took 3 hours gor the bedroom and bathroom radiator to come on) . Because this pub was an extra 10 mins out from the train station ..we decided to stay in as we were tired after bring out all day. Was dissapointed that the pub was shut at 9.00 as wanted to have a drink before going to bed. However the young man said we could take drinks upstairs..which we did.
I was dissappointed at having to pay £24 nearly for a low budget bottle of wine and 2 cans of beer( I thought we might have got this free due to the change of hotel and location( another 10/ 15 mins walk out from the centre)
Also I thought £81 for a one night stay with no breakfast was expensive. I thought £60 was a reasonable price to pay for thr standard of hotel and location
