Immaculate narrow gauge railway.
Bure Valley Railway的点评
点评：Excellent narrow gauge railway which runs on the trackbed of a former standard gauge line between Aylsham and Wroxham. About 9 miles, the journey takes 45 minutes.
Locomotives are immaculate and the whole enterprise is well run and well maintained. The coaches are enclosed and quite comfortable.
Cafe, shop and toilets at Aylsham station, and a small shop, snack bar, toilets and second hand bookshop at Wroxham station. There are no facilities at the intermediate stations.
There is a well stocked model and bookshop at Aylsham station.
There is free car parking at Aylsham station, not sure if this applies at Wroxham as we travelled from Aylsham. At both stations its just a short walk into the town.
We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to this railway and also want to thank the helpful and friendly staff. Recommended.
