点评：Stopped in to “just look” and was greeted by Jada. I asked about sapphires, preferably marquis cut, since it’s the only stone I usually wear. I looked around but honestly didn’t find anything I loved. Michele came over to help, and we eventually moved to the tanzanite section.
I told them I normally don’t like tanzanite because it’s usually too light — too purple or pink for my taste. All my sapphires are deep, dark, almost black-diamond colored. I tried on a few pieces, but nothing felt right — too “blingy,” wrong cut, etc.
Then Michele pulled out a gorgeous darker 1.13 ct marquis-cut tanzanite set in 14k white gold with a thick band and .25 ct channel-set diamonds. I instantly fell in love with it.
She gave me the price, then worked it down a few hundred dollars more. It still wasn’t quite within my budget, so she asked what I could realistically pay. She spoke with her manager and even texted her boss. Not long after, she came back within $100 of my asking price. SOLD!
No hard sales tactics. No wasting time trying to upsell me. Just genuine, helpful service from two wonderful ladies who truly care about the customer experience.
If you’re jewelry shopping in the Royal Naval Dockyard, Jada and Michele are exactly the people you want helping you. I highly recommend them, and I’ll definitely be back to see them again in six months on my next Bermuda cruise!
