Shocking and overpriced

点评：Played this course for the first time and it WILL definitely be the last .
We only played 4 holes , as the fairways were in a shocking state , hardly any grass , just like playing on hard mud .
When playing the 3rd hole the maintenance was being done on the green ( spiking ) , we waited 4/5 minutes for this to be done , but when putting the ball bobbles . We then teed-off on the 4th only to have the same man (spiking ), yet another wait and bobbley green, we decided enough was enough.
We complained to the pro shop about the condition of the fairways and to ask for a refund or part thereof , I was informed that I would have to go through Golf Now with who had booked .
The problem does not occur on any of the other courses we play in the area , so found it hard to believe that it was the fault of the dry weather spell as was the reason given to us that the fairways had minimal grass .
I would say bad maintenance or management, maybe both , and at £27.50 pp it's not cheap and certainly not worth it .
If you want a decent round AVOID this course.
