点评:Sunday 26th april 2026, 7 walkers were at the market hall bus stop in carlisle by 9.45am for the 10am bus to bowness on solway.
When the bus arrived, one of the walkers approached the bus to ask if the bus went to bowness. She was told it was but he was off to get a coffee and have a break. He was parked in bay K. We were all standing in bay L - because this bay was marked for bowness on solway, albeit Monday - Saturday with stagecoach. Bay K had a Reays note on the board but NOT for Bowness. There is no mention of this Sunday route anywhere apart from on the reays website and it does not give bays or state where exactly you pick up the bus in that area. And I'm not even sure if the bays themselves are marked?
When the driver returned to the vehicle he promptly drove off, much to our amazement.
All 7 of us ( 4 different parties) could not believe our eyes. The fact he knew we were waiting for him to get his coffee and we were wanting to go to bowness but he chose to drive off rather than show some customer service and advise he was ready to depart!
We had all assumed he would drop down to bay L and take our fares having finished his coffee break.
We ended up all taking taxis who were exceedingly helpful and friendly.
When we returned to carlisle, this same driver drove like an idiot. We were holding on for dear life around every corner and bump in the road! And although we were at the bus stop, had we not waved him down quite profusely, we are very dubious whether he would have stopped.
The driver needs to improve his customer service and driving skills for sure and the stop would benefit from some timetable/ mention of the bowness route in bay K to alert other future passengers of where exactly to catch this bus.

这位司机肯定需要提高他的服务意识和驾驶技术,而且K站台应该张贴时刻表/博内斯路线的说明,以便其他乘客知道在哪里乘车。
