Pleasant but not exciting walk

点评：We started at the visitor's centre car park, where you can see the small visitor centre, some giant tortoises and a small derelict sugar mill. You cross the road to start a circular walk which took us a little over 2 hours.
The path is rocky and even in places, I would recommend trainers rather than sandals. The edges of the path are marked by rocks piled up on the side, so sometimes you have to go over a small hump and then look round for where the path restarts. It is not that difficult to navigate but there are very few confirmation signs.
We only saw butterflies and the odd gecko on the walk but if you go to the Mare Mahogany, just off the end of the main walk we did see some birds there as it comprises a small pond which attracts the wildlife. I couldn’t tell you which birds though.
