点评：Terrific. Our party of 2 adult couples stayed in cabin 26 for 4 nights. It has heat! Cabin 26 has a parking spot and is private even though the other cabins are only a few yards away.
Accommodations include 2 comfortable twin bunk beds, 2 chest of drawers, a full kitchen, and full bathroom with a front porch. It was tiny, but perfect for our needs. Top bunks were really warm when the heat was on. The kitchen included a full refrigerator, coffee pot(with filters), stove, and dining wear for 4. The bathroom had a small shower, but towels were provided. The front desk brings towels, trash bags, and firewood. We flew into Charleston and rented a car. Picked up groceries, chairs, and necessities along the way- about a 1.5 hour drive.
The park is beautiful and well marked. Plenty of hiking and places to wander. So much more than the mill. The mill was not running while we were there, but still made great pictures.With the low water we were able to walk the rock beds. The visitor center has a few snacks and other gift items. It also includes picnic tables & a bathroom.
The fire pit was perfect for cold nights.
This park is a great location to other parks and the activities of the New River Gorge. When we were there the cabins were full, but the park still seemed like we had it all to ourselves. The leaves were changing and we slept well every night. We enjoyed our stay and appreciated the quet aspects of the park.
