点评:I think that even if you are not a fan of modern art, this museum is a hidden gem. If you walk up the hill from Perkins Cove, there are no sidewalks on Woodbury Lane to reach it, but it's a quiet residential street so you can walk safely on the road. When you get to the top and need to turn left on Shore Road, that is a little trickier, as the road is not too wide and you are definitely walking in the travel lane. It's just a short distance to the parking lot, though, so it's not too bad. The gardens are so lovely and the sculptures are thought-provoking and interesting. The exhibits inside change, so I can't really comment on anything other than what we saw, which was the Gisela McDaniel exhibit; Where the Real Lies; and the Henry Strater's Ogunquit exhibit. Since it's modern art, it doesn't speak to everyone, but it's still good to experience it and even the pieces I didn't particularly enjoy still educated and expanded my worldview. The back garden has incredible ocean views and the whole place feels very special and unique.
