The Most Beautiful and Amazing Parts of New Hampshire

点评：Natural New England is incredible with amazing mountains, beautiful waterfalls, lush forest, covered bridges and scenic drives; however, you can find all of these things in this New Hampshire state park in the White Mountains. We were traveling from a morning hike on Mt. Mansfield to Acadia the next day, so I just planned to visit for New Hampshire to see the Flume Gorge. However, I was unprepared for how incredible this place was, I should have scheduled more time here.
Franconia Notch is a beautiful valley that runs from the Connecticut River to Lincoln and the New Hampshire lake district. It has incredible mountains, beautiful creek valleys and waterfalls and lush, green deciduous forest. The most amazing park is there is an interstate running through that instead of detracting, enhances your visit here. (I will say in the park the Interstate goes from four lanes to two lanes separated by a vegetated median). There are so many of New Hampshires greatest natural features here from the Man in the Mountain to the Flume Notch. The best hiking for the state is here by far.
In addition to driving through the valley, we also hiked the Flume Gorge which is one of the best hikes we did in New England. I can not say enough good things about this park. You can see the pictures but you really need to go experience it. I highly recommend a visit.
