• Detailed maps, video displays & historic artifacts related to the Revolutionary War Battles of Lexington & (especially) Concord. You'll really get an hour by hour sense of what it was like on April 19, 1775 for both the rebel & British soldiers.
• Detailed artifacts (often donated by various decedents) related to the literary careers of Concord residents Thoreau & Emerson and their influence on the Transcendentalist Movement.
• Detailed artifacts related to Concord's role in the anti-slavery Abolitionist Movement.
This Museum can easily hold your attention for 2-3 hours. There's a lot to see in Concord; plan to spend a few hours here.
