Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden的点评
点评：I like to go to zoos on Black Friday to see their Christmas lights, get away from the busy crowds at shops, and get the opportunity to see the animals still!
I tried out Cincinnati this year and was mildly disappointed as their Christmas lights are ranked as the number 1 zoo light festival in the country.
The lights are essentially supposed to look like paper lanterns of different animals - cool in concept, but they’ve had them for too long and they all look a bit worn out. They also had some for animals they don’t even feature at the zoo?
I was also a bit disappointed to discover that SO MANY animals weren’t available to the public. I understand the animal safety situation, but other zoos have alternate viewing areas to see some animals during the colder months.
The food in the zoo was fine, the general decor and interactive aspects were great, and we had a nice time either way. But I wouldn’t go back at this time of year.
