Minnewaska State Park Preserve的点评
点评：It is one of the most beautiful, scenic state parks in NY. It's only 90 min from NYC. There are several trails, from as short as 2.5 miles to a few miles, and every trail has magnificent views of mountains, lakes, and valleys.
There are many benches, gazebos, and picnic tables around the lake paths, so bring your lunch and enjoy the view. Dogs are allowed as long as they are on leashes.
During the fall foliage season, the parking gets full on weekends. Get there as early as possible to beat the long line to enter the park.
During the summer months, you can swim in the lake. It is a small beach, but you can dip your toes in the fresh lake water. After passing the swimming test, you can qualify to swim in the other area.
Don't forget to see the beautiful waterfall too (lower ground parking)
