点评：What's not to like?! It's a free service to take you to everywhere a tourist to Monterey would go. The trolley was clean. The drivers would answer any questions we had and let us know our stop on the one occasion we were unsure. If you miss the trolley, don't stress, another will come around in about 10 minutes. If you want to just sit back and view the area, the entire loop doesn't take that long. Some people complained when the driver got off for about 10 minutes. Really? Maybe he needed to pee! Also, there is a place it stops, at the transit, for about 10 minutes, to charge. If you don't like this service, then you're expectations are off.
Occasionally the trolley got full. Some people remember their manners and offer their seats to people less spry than themselves. There are hand holds on the roof so people can stand in the aisle to accommodate more people. Keep in mind, you will likely only be squeezed in for a few minutes until the next stop. There was one part of the loop that seemed to challenge those standing a bit more. It was the leg from Fisherman's Wharf to Cannery Row.
We stayed at a hotel within about a 5 minute walk to a trolley station. We left our car at the hotel and NEVER had to drive anywhere. We just took the trolley or walked. We were in Monterey for 3 days, visited the aquarium, cannery row, and the wharf. Never had to drive around to find and pay for parking.
