Not really entertaining for kids
休斯顿自然科学博物馆的点评
点评：90% of this museum is kind of boring for kids. A lot of bones, shells, and trinkets that they just shuffle passed quickly. There was one area with a few interactive things for kids. There is a floor where you can explore the table of elements, but the guard didn’t seem to like kids. Kids will be kids, and he kept yelling at them to stop running and stop stomping, and he was feverishly counting how many kids were on the floor constantly. The point was the search and find the element on the screen. Of course the kids were going to run to the element and bounce on it when they found it. He even yelled at my daughter for dancing (not even on the interactive floor). She was doing a celebration dance for finding the elements. He called it “rough housing” and yelled at me to make her stop. So stupid… We did the planetarium. That was kind of cool, but there were babies crying through most of what Tom Hanks was saying on the speaker so we missed a lot of it. I suggest sitting at the top of the planetarium unless you want a neck ache. We also did the butterfly exhibit. That was pretty cool, but getting to the butterflies room takes you through a bug exhibit. The interactive part was fun (if they worked), but the bugs on display were a bit “yucky” for my daughter. LOL I didn’t care for them either… We didn’t spend that much time at this museum. We were mainly waiting around for our time at the Planetarium and the butterfly exhibit.
