Love the beach and less crowded area, the boardwalk is very small

I’ve been going to Ocean City NJ two or three times a year since I moved to Pennsylvania a few years ago, and I enjoy that beach, so I decided to give Sea Isle City a try and I'm glad I did. To start off I only paid $7 to park 9 hours on a Sunday, compared to $20 at OC. The beach is very clean and it’s not crowded at all. Numerous food and shopping options are in the area, but not an overwhelming number. I also liked that it’s very patriotic here, I saw lots of memorial benches and flags and such. Three bathrooms I used were all very clean, and the people were so friendly here, too. I went for a walk down the Promenade and then back up Landis Ave and I got four good mornings in my first 5 minutes and had a few nice conversations at stops along the way on my walk. Reasonable $5 beach tag just like OC, which keeps the riff raff people away too cheap to pay it.
