Nice course RUDE old members

点评：After being a member at this course for over 6 years & now moved to a different course I was excited to revisit as a guest of an existing member, the course was in good condition for the amount of rain it has seen over the past 3 weeks. The secretary was very polite & chatty, a great person to represent the club, but then I came across the reason I did not renew my membership & went to another club nearby, the rude, obnoxious members. On our third hole we were approached by three members of which one I knew by name & spoken to on numerous occasions, the member said ARE YOU MEMBERS HERE? YOUR NOT BOOKED ON THE SYSTEM AS A THREE BALL SO SHOULD NOT BE PLAYING! The member amongst us who had signed us in had booked the tee off time but did not know how to book in visitors although the visitors book in the clubhouse had been completed.
These three same individuals then approached the club professional who was on a lesson on the course to try ascertain who we were & if he knew us, to which he informed us he replied to them “YES I KNOW ALL THREE CHAPS AND THEY ARE GOOD LADS”
These three members then made us feel very uncomfortable by standing near our fairway watching us take our shots without engaging conversation or offering an apology for the first encounter. The older members at this club feel they own the course & the tee off times, should you dare to book a time they might of wanted they are rude & pathetic.
Often they do not book a tee off time & expect to walk straight onto the course no questions asked, this is why the club struggles to have many players under 25, shame really.
