Big Bend Ranch State Park的点评
点评：We were here in July. It’s hot but we went for it and really enjoyed it. It was not crowded at all with loads of wildlife. We saw wild donkeys, Havalinas, a screech owl, albino field mouse, road runner and desert millipedes. So much more wildlife here than at Big Bend. We love how we could just drive through the park and we were amongst the mountains whereas in Big Bend you can see the mountains off in the distance. The trails were great. We ventured out early morning and did the closed canyon and hoodoos trails. Enjoyed both of them and were the only ones around. If you’ve been to Bryce Canyon these are not hoodoos like you see there but it was fine and we had a great time walking all the way down to the Mexico side of the Rio Grande river. Some pull offs have an outdoor toilet and there’s hand sanitizer and toilet paper available. We even came out at night to see the dark Texas sky full of beautiful stars. It was simply amazing to see.
