Our second visit to the museum was just as enjoyable as our first

点评：This was our second time to visit the museum, and both times, we spent almost three hours going through the entire facility. While I consider myself an amateur historian, my husband taught different aspects of it at the university level and also spent 30 years as a Marine fighter pilot. Both of us can be a little geeky about the history of the Pacific War, so it was a no-brainer to revisit this wonderful museum. It skillfully teaches about the beginning, middle, and end of the war and delves into the people and places that played an integral part. It also highlights the accidents and near-misses that kept certain countries from participating, while those same accidents and near-misses propelled others into the thick of battle. The National Museum of the Pacific War is well worth your time, and if you have young ones, bring them along. There are interactive exhibits that they will enjoy, too.
