Very impressive waterfall, especially if you see it close up.

点评：We were lucky to see the Katoomba waterfall both up close and from the Scenic Skyway. You can see the waterfall by doing the Underfall Walk where the water cascades into the creekthat leads to the top of the waterfall itself, accessible from the Prince Henry Cliff Road. It is signposted as the Katoomba Cascades on the Prince Henry Cliff Walk sign posts. Then the Katoomba Falls lookout a fifteen-minute walk from this point, provides one of the most spectacular views of the falls themselves. And then finally we viewed it from the Scenic Skyway, when you see an aerial view of the top of the waterfall cascading over the ledge of the top of the mountain.
As others have mentioned the best way, if you have the time, which we did not, is to do the Katoomba Falls Round Walk, which is a fairly easy trail of approximately 2.5km long (3km if you take in all the viewpoints), and takes under an hour to. There are stairs, and the path isn’t paved for the whole walk, so I would recommend a decent pair of walking shoes, but overall, it’s fairly leisurely and non strenuous.
