Great stretch of beach, enjoy walking along here
Utorda Beach的点评
点评：Friday 29th November and we retraced our steps along this beautiful stretch of beach along the south Goan Coast.
It is sandwiched between Arossim Beach to the north and Majorda to the south.
We have walked this way numerous times and never tire of it. We access the beach from the passageway that runs alongside the Planet Hollywood Hotel.
At the entrance to the beach is the Utorda Water Sports Centre. We turn left here and head towards Majorda, turning right would take us to the Shacks along the beach in the direction of Arossim.
On this occasion we did stop for a few moments to watch the workers erecting a stage on the beach for a wedding ceremony taking place later on.
This is a wide section on beach, depending on the tide, which is flanked by the Arabian Sea on one side and the sand dunes and palm trees along the back of the beach.
Apart from the workers constructing the stage and the guys from the Sports Centre we saw nobody else, almost glorious solitude.
The only evidence that others had been here before us were the numerous footprints and the tyre marks from the Lifeguard's jeep along the sand.
This was all in stark contrast to the colourful pagodas, flags and the Beach Shacks and the chaos we saw as we approached Majorda Beach.
