点评：I visited Manuc Bey Mansion during a cultural tour through Moldova, and it absolutely exceeded my expectations. Tucked away in the small town of Hîncești, this restored 19th-century estate is one of the most beautiful and historically rich sites in the country.
The mansion, once belonging to the famous Armenian diplomat and merchant Manuc Bey, has been beautifully renovated. The main palace is impressive with its elegant architecture, period furniture, and fascinating exhibition rooms that take you back to the Belle Époque of Moldova. Every room tells a different story—from diplomatic salons to royal-style bedrooms.
The surrounding estate includes charming annexes, a beautiful park, and even a mini zoo that makes it family-friendly. There’s also a small museum with archaeological artifacts and documents related to Manuc Bey's life.
The guided tour was informative and passionate. I loved learning how this historical figure played a role in regional diplomacy, and how his legacy still resonates today.
Tip: Visit on a sunny day to enjoy the gardens, and bring a camera—the place is incredibly photogenic. It’s an easy day trip from Chișinău (about 45–60 min drive).
