Avalon Marshes Centre的点评
点评：There is a good craft centre here with first rate affordable craft work. There is an archaeology centre with reconstructions of a viking ship & roman floor & more. There are good toilets & a cafe with good take away food.
I have not given it top marks because the cafe seating was mostly al fresci so not so good in cool September - although it was covered seating. The food was mostly baps & burgers with lasagna as an option I think they have the kitchen space to do better.
The archaeology centre is only open on Sundays whixh was disappointing.
The map we were given we found quite challenging to understand. However the cafe & loos were superior to RSPB Ham Wall round the corner.
The information on nature was excellent. There was a good display explaining eels. We found the prehistoric Sweet trackreconstruction which was gratifying.
